| Summary | A strange night. We were missing 2 of our regulars (Todd and John) who also usually bring games, so we were limited to the games I brought. However, we had several new people show up, (Hi Ed, Mike, Brian, and Morgan) and a couple of people we don't see very often show up as well (hi Matt and Justin). So it gave us a new mix of players. Joel was pleased to find out that Ed also enjoys the chit and hex wargames as well. |
| Drunter und Drüber |
| Played By | Everett P. Chad Ed M. Justin |
| Summary | Drunter and Druber got a lot of plays tonight. Partly because it was one of the few games that we had on hand that Joel and Sara both like. But mostly because it is a fun tile-laying game, that everyone seems to enjoy. During the first game, Ed scored a whopping 12 points, which is almost double the most points I have seen scored before. |

| Played By | Ed M. Sara F. Joel U. Mike O. |
| Summary | The fourth game of D&D this evening, and this time Joel comes away with the win, with the winning score being 12 again! Before tonight, we very seldom had any 5 point buildings remaining. |

| Gargon |
| Played By | Everett P. Chad Justin Bill P. Matt L. |
| Summary | Bill really wanted to play Gargon, and since there were no objections, we decided to give it a go before tackling Vinci. Gargon is a nice filler game, but winning seems dependent on being able to randomly draw the doubler cards. |
| Winner(s) | Everett P. |
| Finish | 1-Everett P. (60) 2-Bill P. (46) 3-Matt L. (44) 4-Justin (38) 5-Chad (15) |

| Vinci: The Rise and Fall of Civilizations |
| Played By | Everett P. Chad Justin Bill P. Matt L. |
| Summary | This was the game of the evening as far as I was concerned, but Vinci is one of my favorite all-time games. Even though I think it has a bit of a king-maker problem. Maybe that's because I was the one in the lead that everyone started attacking. Nevertheless, I was able to barely hang on to the lead and come away with the win. No real killer combos for civilizations came up tonight, but I did see one of the weakest combos in play ever: Specialized Rebirth. And the funny thing is that I ended up taking it and still winning. |
| Winner(s) | Everett P. |
| Finish | 1-Everett P. (103) 2-Chad (100) 3-Justin (93) 3-Bill P. (93) 5-Matt L. (90) |
| Ratings | Everett P. (10) Chad (8) Justin (8) Bill P. (10) Matt L. (7) |
| Alles im Eimer
|
| Played By | Everett P. Chad Justin Bill P. |
| Summary | After Vinci we were looking for something quick, and chose the Bucket King. It's not a bad follow the trump game, with an interesting scoring mechanic: if you can play trump with a total higher than the previous player, you lose a bucket of that color from your pyramid of buckets, and all buckets above it. Have the most buckets at the end of the game, and you win. We only played 2 hands before Bill had to leave. |
| Winner(s) | Justin |
| Finish | 1-Justin (11) 2-Chad (7) 3-Everett P. (3) 4-Bill P. (1) |
| Ratings | Everett P. (6) Chad (6) Justin (7) Bill P. (6) |
| Trans America |
| Played By | Mike O. Chad Justin Everett P. |
| Summary | We needed another quick game as I had to leave for work in another 1/2 hour, so we pulled out Trans America. Mike did well, finishing first 2 out of the three rounds to win. |
| Winner(s) | Mike O. |
| Finish | 1-Mike O. (11) 2-Chad (9) 3-Justin (6) 4-Everett P. (4) |
| Ratings | Mike O. (8) Chad (6) Justin (7) Everett P. (7) |
